[NEWS] 2PM to Hold Six Concerts at Budokan!
A lot of Korean singers have set many new records in many countries, but 2PM’s record in Japan is going to be hard to beat, as it’s going to be an unusual one.
2PM will be holding six concerts in just one week at Japan’s Budokan.
The concerts, with a concept titled Budokan 6 Days, will be held from May 24-25 and from May 28-31. They will thus take place over the course of a full week, and the 2PM members will be the first Korean singers to hold a series of six concerts at Budokan.
A rep from the group’s agency JYP Entertainment said, “2PM was received favorably as the ‘Best Rookie of 2011’ in Japan in 2011, and thus came to hold the six concerts in Budokan. On March 17, the film Ouran High School Host Club, which features Nichkhun as a cameo, will premiere.”
Before the concerts and the film premiere, 2PM will be releasing a Korean best album in Japan on March 14.
The best album will contain the group′s major Korean hits, as well as some lesser known tracks that the group felt were too good to leave out.
The album will be released in three versions: one original, one with a DVD of the JYP Nation in Japan concert held on August 2011 and one containing Alive written by member Junsu (Jun.K) and Move On, written by member Junho.
2PM sweeped through the Oricon charts, coming in second among the rookies for the 2011 Oricon Artist Total Sales Chart, and first among Korean artists.
At the 26th Japan Golden Disk Awards, the group won the New Artist of the Year award. Taecyeon, Chansung and Nichkhun have also scored huge individual successes, with local dramas and films.

MC: Let’s hear it for 2PM! Scream all you want…you haven’t seen them in a while! Are they still as handsome and cute as before? Let’s have each of them greet us. Last time we saw each other was 7 months ago at Paragon. Please greet your Hottest fans that have been waiting since this morning, before Paragon even opened.
[They each greet in Thai. “Hi My name is ….”]
MC: Let’s not waste any time. They came here to film their 3rd CF for Eversense. How was this shooting the commercial yesterday? Any fun stories to share with your fans?
Taec: 2PM has filmed a lot of commercials with all different concepts, but yesterday was a very different concept for 2PM. However, the company just asked that we not reveal the concept just yet (LOL), but it was very fun.
Khun: Fans have to wait to see this commercial because we will be very fierce and sexy, which will be different from other ones. The past ones were cute, but this one is definitely fierce and sexy to show everyone’s hotness. So everybody, wait and see.
MC: Let’s just forget what Taecyeon said for now then. [Taec pretends to pout and leave.] But, I think, looking at Taecyeon’s arms, I shouldn’t risk anything. (laughs) I heard that yesterday, there was a very pretty lady who you worked it. We won’t reveal who is is right now, but how was it?
Khun: This pretty lady is very cute and she is very suited to be a presenter for Eversense. I’ve seen her movie before and I thought she was very cute, good at acting, and had a lot of charisma. When I met her yesterday, I was very surprised because nobody told me that it was going to be her, so I was surprised, but she was probably surprised too because there were 6 guys surrounding her, so she was probably embarrassed and we didn’t get to talk to each other much. But I just sat there and watched her smile and such. I was very excited and didn’t know how to act around her either.
MC: How do the other guys feel about working with a new Thai actress.
Wooyoung: Actually, it was disappointing that we only got to work with her for a short amount of time.
Chansung: Uhhh….I was very surprised. I thought she was walking doll.
Taecyeon: Yea…(in Thai) yes, sir.
MC: Wait, was that “yes, sir” answering my question?
Taecyeon: Shh! (in Thai) I miss you very much.
Khun: Danggg!! [He used a Thai phrase almost like “Daebak!!”]
MC: What did Taecyeon say?
Khun: He said “I miss you very much”
Taecyeon: I really missed everybody.
MC: Nichkhun, please retune Taecyeon. Junsu, how about you?
Junsu: It was very fun.
Junho: If we have another opportunity, we would like to work with her again.
MC: Okay…wait, why did Taecyeon lower down like that? Oh, the chair.
