[NEWS]{20112012} Joo Won, Choi Kang Hee, 2PM’s Chansung and Others Hold First Reading for ‘7th Grade Civil Servant’.

With only a few days left before their first shooting, Choi Kang Hee and Joo Wonhave finally met for the first script reading rehearsal for their new MBC’s upcoming drama, ‘7^th Grade Civil Servant‘, which has recently changed its name from ‘TheSecret Lovers‘ to match the original movie version title.

The drama’s cast members, including Joo Won, Jang Young Nam, Choi Kang Hee, 2PM’s Chansung, gathered at MBC’s Dream Center in Ilsan on November 13th to break the ice and rehearse their script. Choi Kang Hee, who’s taking on the female lead ‘Kim Seo Won’, commented, “It’s been a while since I’ve been in an exciting drama such as this. I’m happy to be working with senior actors whom I’ve always respected.”

Joo Won, who will be playing the male lead of ‘Han Gil’, said, “I’m still lacking in areas so I’m grateful to have been given an opportunity to play a great role like this. I’m looking forward to learning a lot of acting from my amazing new seniors.”

2PM’s Chansung, who will be playing ‘Gong Do Ha’, a special agent, earned a round of applause from the cast after belting out “Hands Up” at the scene. He greeted everyone by saying, “I’ll do my best not as 2PM’s Chansung but as actor Hwang Chansung.”

MBC is planning a January 2013 premiere for the secret agent-themed drama.
