[NEWS] 120509 Super Junior, 2PM, 2AM, miss A, INFINITE to perform at Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea
Some of the biggest names in the current Korean music scene will come together for a concert taking place at the Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea.
Super Junior, 2PM, 2AM, miss A, INFINITE and other K-pop singers are slated to perform at the K-POP “BIG WAVE CONCERT” during the event on May 12, the show’s promoter CJ E&M announced through a press release on Wednesday.
The concert, which will take place for a total of seven shows till August in the port city located in southern part of Korea, will begin with the Wonder Girls and the Amoeba Hood, featuring Dynamic Duo and Simon D.
Busker Busker, Jung-in and LeeSSang are in the lineup of the second concert on June 15, while 2AM and B1A4 have been set to perform on June 19.
Meanwhile, popular boy bands SHINee and INFINITE will meet with the audience on June 26, and 2PM and miss A will take the stage on July 5.
For the later part of the concert series, with Super Junior and CNBLUE set to appear on July 21 and FTIsland and ZE:A to perform on August 11.
“We felt that these artists will meet the expectations of all the attendees at such a meaningful and global event,” an official with CJ E&M was quoted as saying.
The Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea will be joined by 24 United Nation agencies and will hold exhibitions that will help raise public awareness on marine and coastal environmental issues.
