2PM’s Taecyeon apologized to Infinite’s fans after a misunderstanding on one of his Twitter updates. The apology was referring to Taecyeon’s Twitter conversation with singer G.NA, which was evidently misunderstood by Infinite’s fans.
The conversation started after G.NA posted an update about today’s “M! Countdown” episode and eventually referred to Baek Jiyoung and Infinite as her seniors. Taecyeon then replied to her update saying that he finds it awkward that Infinite is a senior to G.NA, despite the age gap. Taecyeon’s comments on their online conversation further puzzled Infinite’s fans, while some were left angry on his term “grand senior”.
To clarify the misunderstanding, Taecyeon issued an apology on his Twitter account saying, “It seems that something has been done wrong. I think it’s important to clear things up like this~ Infinite, congrats with your 2nd anniversary, and I’ll be more careful afterwards in order to avoid misunderstandings~^^.”
